Introducing our Athletes of the Week program! Each week, Williston coaches nominate one student-athlete from their team who stood out by demonstrating our core values of purpose, passion, and integrity. These athletes show exceptional dedication, leadership, and sportsmanship, both on and off the field, embodying what it means to be a Williston Wildcat. Read below for more information on each of the Athletes of the Week.
Archie Glazer ’26- Boys 3rds Basketball
Archie found his groove during last Wednesday’s game against Eaglebrook, hitting five three-pointers to pace the Wildcats offense in a big win. Archie’s shooting helped open the game up, and then on defense he came up with several big plays to keep any rallies from coming. Archie continued his defensive play during a Saturday loss at Winchendon, while also adding another 3-pointer. His coaches and teammates appreciate his team first mentality as it has provided a strong example for all his teammates.
Kat Mayer ’26- Girls Varsity Basketball
Throughout the season, Kat has been one of the toughest and most competitive players on the girls varsity basketball Team. This week, Kat played two of her best games of the season. She set the tone with strong defense and owned the glass on both sides of the court, with rebound after rebound. Most impressively, after suffering an injury in the first half against Taft, Kat remained in the game and came up with six big second half points. Then, on the road against Cheshire, Kat adjusted well to her new protective face mask and went on to put up a season high 13 points, playing a huge part in the Wildcats’ 67-65 road victory on Saturday. Kat’s grit, positivity, and competitive nature make her a huge asset to the team. She has grown tremendously as a player this season and her senior year will be exciting to watch!
Jack Nolan ’26 – Boys Varsity Hockey
Recently, Jack has converted from being a defenseman to a forward, as he filled in for his team’s needs as the Cat’s dealt with injuries, proving his team first mentality. Jack has thrived in this role. Jack has been noticeable every shift he is on the ice using his speed and physicality as assets. In addition, last week, Jack scored goals in each of the Canterbury and Deerfield games. The Wildcats appreciate his leadership through example and look forward to his continued strong performances as the round out the season.
Dario Rodriguez ’27 – Boys JV Hockey
Dario has been one of the most dedicated, hard-working, and talented players on the boys JV hockey team this season. He is a very effective player in all three zones. He plays hard consistently and always with the highest level of sportsmanship in both practices and games. His speed and vision make him an excellent linemate who often plays a big part in creating offensive opportunities. All these attributes make Dario a great role model for his teammates. Dario will surely play a key role in any success we have in the final game of the season.
Keirstyn Camiolo ’25- Girls Varsity Hockey
Keirstyn, a dedicated four-year senior, has demonstrated remarkable growth and perseverance, especially in overcoming an ACL injury during her junior campaign. She has emerged even stronger and has showcased her resilience and determination every day this season. This past week, Keirstyn played with grit, making several key plays that helped drive the wildcats momentum. She consistently got the puck deep and created opportunities for the team. In the second period against Loomis, she positioned herself perfectly in the neutral zone to receive a pass from a teammate. With a skillful move, she broke free for a one-on-one with the goalie, pulling them to the far side. Her well-placed shot generated a crucial rebound, allowing her teammate to score the third goal of the game—an essential moment on Senior Day that contributed to a 4-0 victory. Her coaches and teammates are excited to see Keirstyn continue making an impact as the Cats push forward through the rest of the season!
Noah Comrie ’27- Boys Varsity Squash
Noah, the team’s rock solid #7 player, has been integral to the success of the boys varsity squash team this season. Aside from having a rocket for a forehand, Noah is an ambassador to the team. He often shows up early to sneak on with the JV team, introduces new players to the sport, and plays in his free time. His game has evolved over these last two years from a power player to a tactician, adding soft drops and lobs to his arsenal. We’re lucky to have him anchoring the lineup, and his teammates all could use a dose of his meditative poise on the court.
Olivia Zaiken ’27- Girls Varsity Squash
Olivia rounded out her season with a stellar performance at last Saturday’s tri-match versus Ethel Walker and Suffield. Olivia toughed out a 3-1 win versus Ethel Walker to begin the day, displaying her full power in the victory. In her match against Suffield, Olivia fought through five grueling sets, and despite a close loss, played some of the best squash in the match. During practices, Olivia has also been keen to help her teammates with their form and technique. Olivia’s team appreciate all she has contributed to this season and look forward to more growth and strong play for seasons to come.
Caroline Webster ’27- Girls JV Squash
A newcomer to the sport of squash, Caroline has been an impactful member of the girls JV squash program. As a natural athlete, she quickly adapted to the sport, demonstrating steady improvement through dedication and consistent effort. She frequently stayed after practice and utilized her free periods to refine her skills. Since the beginning of the season, her game has advanced significantly, leading to multiple match wins and a climb in the team rankings from the 7th to the 5th spot. In the team’s recent match against Pomfret, Caroline competed in the number 3 position, delivering her strongest performance to date. She pushed the match to the final set, displaying a deep understanding of the game. Her serves were strong, her backhands and drives were precise, and she exhibited agility in covering the court effectively. Her commitment and progress this season have been commendable, and her coaches and teammates are proud of her efforts.

Cole capped off an incredible regular season by setting a new school record in the 6-dive event. He now heads to the postseason with a chance to break the school’s 11-dive record. Cole has been tremendous on the boards and in the pool as he is also one of our best sprinters. Cole is sure to have an exciting next two weeks, and the team will rely on him for his strong performances as they head into the New England Championships in the coming weeks.
